The Covid pandemic highlighted how dependent we all are on our jobs. During that time, those who were able to succeed were those who had an independent income.<\/p>\n

As a result of this insight,- we began to offer many needy women one cow each, – and others were offered goats. By milking the cows and raising the goats for milk and sale,- the women are able to developed a regular income,- and could meet in this way their basic daily needs\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

A beautiful aspect of this program is that when the cow or goat has a second calf or kid, -once they are big enough to be separated from the mother,the women are required to give one back to the program,- so that other,- so that other needy widows can benefit.
